A new version of Opera 11.60 is available for download. The update makes several changes to the user.
Opera Software today announced the availability of Opera 11.60. The new browser is codenamed "Tunny" (tuna) and takes over from Swordfish (Swordfish), the last major version presented last June.
Improvements introduced today, is the most visible on the address bar that offers new suggestions when typing text and allows bookmarking through a star-shaped icon.
The integrated messaging system was also completely revised for a more intuitive and offers the ability to group and sort messages. A new navigation engine, the heart of the browser, just improve the performance and stability.
The update to version 11.60 also brings many bug fixes and security since the beta and improvements on the more technical support for HTML5 and CSS3.
The next major release could be Opera 12 already available in "Next" (unstable), and bears the code name "Wahoo". Opera 11.60 is now available for download if the browser does not of itself an automatic update.
